Part-time Screenprinter & Marketing Intern

As a student at Michigan State University, I picked up a part-time job at a local print shop. In addition to helping with daily operations–– screenprinting, editing artwork, fulfilling orders–– I saw an opportunity to expand our presence on campus. As a result, I created, proposed and implemented advertising materials used to promote our services on campus.

Roles:

• Managed orders, screen-printed and assisted in the distribution of 150+ daily orders

• Operated a screen press to print on various substrates, including multi-color print jobs

• Cleaned screens, coat screens and image burn screens

• Proactively sought new opportunities to promote business on campus, developing graphic assets & advertising materials for local and social media promotion
